(November 11, 2022) Sterling Structural a leading manufacturer of cost-effective, pre-fabricated mass timber and hybrid structural systems in North America, today announced publication of an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its TerraLam® CLT panels. This third-party verified EPD, published by EPD Hub, provides detailed information on the environmental impacts of TerraLam CLT throughout its full life cycle.

The EPD covers Sterling’s TerraLam CLT panels made from 100% US-sourced wood, including three custom grades: V3+ (Southern Pine), V4+ (Spruce Pine Fir – South), and EH-T (Eastern Hemlock). The panels are certified to the PRG 320 performance standard by the International Code Council; are SFI Source and Chain of Custody Certified and third-party verified by SCS Global; and DECLARE® certified by the International Living Future Institute to be Red List Free™.

This EPD demonstrates Sterling’s commitment to transparency and sustainability in the construction industry. Key features of the TerraLam CLT EPD include:

• Verification by a third-party organization
• Compatibility with green building certification programs such as LEED and Living Building Challenge
